We were hit by five different fighters tonight. The first attack in zone 5 outbound wounded Ansell, took out the #4 engine fuel tank which drained out over the next zone and also took out Allen's suit heater. After dropping to 10000 ft, Allen received a light wound and some damage occured to the tail ammo boxes. Allen subsequently KIA's this attacker for his sixth kill. Attacked by both Me110 and Me109 over target causing some light damage. Put 20% of bombs on target and turned for home. Jumped by Tame boar in zone 8 which was KIA'd on its second pass by Ansell (his first).
Hit by flak over zone 6 took out #2 oil tank and forced engine shutdown. Limped home on two engines without facing any more attackers. Lucked out on a lot of flak misses as well.
All crew will recover from wounds in time for next mission.
