Attacked shortly after crossing enemy coast, first attacks took wing damage and minor damage to waist.
Soon after another attacker came in more wing damage and i was hit luckily a only light wound.
Another attack followed and more wing damage nose gunner managed to hit this fighter and he never came back.
Over the Target our tail gunner took out an attacking fighter before he could open up on us, no searchlight found us and flak all missed, good bomb run on Target and after turning round ran into a fighter which the nose gun took out.
No more enemy activity all the way back to base, landed safe.
Damage mainly superficial wings and waist port wing root damage, starboard aileron inoperable.
All crew fit for duty.
