Flying to target Sgt. Davis shot down a 110 on its second attack in Zone 5. Avoided EA until Berlin where another 110 hammered us with damage to the nose, bomb bay, waist, pilot compartment and port wing. Sergeant Davis suffered a light wound but he and Saskatoon held together. The weather was not on our side this night, and our bomb run I'm sorry to report was way off. Returned to base for repair. Sergeant Davis according to the Docs will be okay for the next mission.
